Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Commerce and Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. He studied business tax law at the University of Sydney and graduated from PwC’s tax academy. He is currently undertaking a Masters in Family Law. He is admitted in the Supreme Court of WA and High Court of Australia.
He has worked at three of Perth’s leading family law firms. Before pursuing family law, he was a tax lawyer at PwC, one of the big four global accounting firms.
He is well versed in all areas of family law including the division of assets, bringing and defending spousal maintenance claims, drafting financial agreements (pre-nups), dealing with overseas assets, dealing with complex trust and business structures, drafting care arrangements for children, bringing child support applications, relocating with children interstate and internationally, enforcing orders, drafting consent orders and bringing and defending FVRO’s.
Nicholas sits on the Family Law Association of WA committee and the Piddington Society junior committee. He is a former President of the Notre Dame Law Students’ Society, former committee member on the Young Lawyers Committee of WA and alumni of the selective Sir Charles Court Young Leaders Programme. He presently volunteers at the Subiaco Justice Centre and the Women’s Legal Service of WA.
