Nicholas Coveney obtained his Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce with Distinction from the University of Notre Dame, Fremantle in 2015. He obtained his Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice with Distinction from the College of Law in 2016.
He takes instructions in all areas of family law, including but not limited to, financial division, spousal maintenance claims, binding financial agreements, international assets, family trusts, parenting arrangements, child support issues, relocating with children, documenting agreements, court representation and enforcing orders.
He is particularly interested in matters involving companies, trusts, investment properties, shares and self managed superannuation funds, having previously worked as a tax lawyer for global firm, PwC, and undertaking further study in tax law at the University of Sydney.
Nicholas sits on the Financial Committee and Continuing Professional Development Committee of the Family Law Practitioners’ Association of Western Australia as well as the Junior Committee of the Piddington Society. He was previously a past President of the Notre Dame Law Students’ Society.
